why boudoir ?

I truly believe all women are beautiful. Regardless of our age, physic , where you came from or where you are going, whether you are a mom, newlywed or it’s your 20th anniversary, there is something unique and downright amazing in all of us. I want to bring that out. I want to capture the gorgeous you that I know exists. Yes, styling, hair, makeup and darling outfits complete the shoot, but what I really want is to get to know the real you and let that shine through in your captivating images. The thing I absolutely love most is when a boudoir client leaves their shoot with a HUGE smile on their face just glowing from their experience. I love hearing how empowered and beautiful their session makes them feel and how they can’t believe how much fun they had and how relaxed they felt. This is why I love boudoir and this is why I love what I do. Trust me, you won’t regret this experience.

  • “Thank you for helping me have to confidence to do a boudoir photo session”

    September 30, 2014

I had to take a moment to thank you again! In person just didn't seem like enough... First of all, thank you for helping me have to confidence to do a boudoir photo session. Like most women, I have never done anything even close to this. That's what made it so exciting! Also thank you for making me feel so comfortable during the shoot. You always do! You truly captured the real me! Chris love the photo album I gave him on our wedding night!

You're truly the best in the business!

  • “Kris made me feel so at ease, so I wasn’t at all nervous”

    September 27, 2014

I had an amazing boudoir session experience with the fantastic Kristi. With my wedding a few months away, I wanted to get my fiancé (now husband) a special wedding present that would also surprise him. After meeting Kris at a wedding fair, I instantly knew that between her style and warm personality, she was someone I’d want to work with.

The entire experience was fabulous. We met ahead of time to talk about outfits and so Kris could get a sense of my personality to create a truly unique experience for me. The day of the shoot was unforgettable. I had a blast with Kris and also the talented Amy Stutzriem who did my hair and makeup and made me feel beautiful and confident. Kris made me feel so at ease, so I wasn’t at all nervous – which really showed in the photos. What I came away with was so much more than the final black book (which my husband LOVED and was so well put together). It was an empowering experience and I have already encouraged many of my friends to do one of their own!

  • “She managed to capture a sexy side of myself I never knew was there!”

    September 27, 2014

I was really nervous when I arrived for my boudoir session, even though I was sure it was going to make a perfect gift for my husband. Kristi took time and made me very comfortable and helped the whole process feel fun and natural. Somehow she managed to capture a sexy side of myself I never knew was there!

  • “It was so much more than a photo shoot”

    September 27, 2014

Well let's just say having a boudoir shoot on an island in the Caribbean was something out of a magazine. Not being my "ideal size" gave me some hesitation to doing the shoot in the first place, but Kristi made me feel so at ease I forgot about my body image issues. It was probably the sexiest I've ever felt in my life and the pictures blew me away. I have a giant sized photo hanging over my bathtub and it's such a wonderful reminder to love myself and to squash negative thoughts about my body. In the end, it was so much more than a photo shoot.

  • Should I book a makeup artist?

In a nutshell, yes. The majority of my clients book a professional hair and makeup artist. Not only do they help complete your look, but it is one less thing to worry about on your shoot day. They are skilled in lighting and will be able to give you a clean, fresh look, a dramatic edge, or a combination of both. I work with some amazing artists and would love to give you a referral.

  • How far in advance should I book?

I recommend scheduling your session a few weeks in advance, especially if this is a wedding present or gift for a special event. We will want to make sure we have enough time to get you on the calendar and get that sexy little book out to you.

  • How should I stylize my shoot?

Accessories, accessories, accessories...I can't stress enough how the perfect necklace or pair of heels complete the look. It's a great idea to bring a couple of different options and something that is YOU! Do you love sports? Incorporate that. Do you love to dress up or do you prefer a more casual look? Still stuck? All of my sessions include a styling consult and I am more than happy to help you narrow down your options and find something that works perfect for you.

  • What should I wear?

This is entirely up to you and your comfort level. Are you comfortable simply bearing a shoulder in your fiancé's favorite t-shirt, or would you prefer to put on sexy lingerie? Either way is perfect and equally as sexy. This shoot is all about you and what you love!

  • Do your sessions include digital images?

Yes! All of my boudoir sessions include your high resolution digital images.
Albums, prints and wall art are also available and make the perfect keepsake.
